I ran in Kansas city!

I went to visit my sister and didn't miss out my training this weekend. I contacted the team in Kansas city a few days before I left and they were so friendly to accomodate me in their training. It was wonderful to train in Kansas city. The city is beautiful!
The run path started at Quivera park. First off, it was slightly chill in the morning that I had to sit inside the car waiting for the team to assemble. It must have been 30 degrees cooler than Tucson.
The trail was amazing. It was truly breathtaking. My eyes were happy to see so much green. I realized how much of a nature lover I am during the run.
I started running from the park, the path started with bushes on either side, then thick bushes. The path then entered thick forest areas. I was surprised to hear and see a running stream with lots of water alongside the path. It was so exciting.
I ran through patches of forest and lawn, houses and under tunnels. There were a couple of proud moments during the run. I sprinted so fast for a stretch which was unbelievable. At the 5 mile turn around point, I felt so tall. Maybe its pride or maybe I did grow an inch or two. I hope its the later. lol!!
I am enthusiatic to travel to and train in more places. I am sure I will find TNT in every city in US. So, you just have to invite me to your city and I will come with my shoes and shorts! This photo was taken with Kansas city TNT trainers Duog and Helen. More photos in my flickr link http://www.flickr.com/photos/27434728@N05/
Although I increased my running pace this week by one minute, I took the same time as last week for the same number of miles. Maybe I enjoyed the walk so much that I didn't want it to end.
